Tether (Experimental Short Film)
With death comes new life.
‘Tether’ explores the unconscious and ultimately unknowable tether between one’s present self-entity and the future life vessel one transitions into in rebirth. Set in a completely null void, 'Tether' offers a minimalist simulacrum of the visceral experiences of birth, death and rebirth portrayed through the every-man caricatures of the ‘Paper Bag Man’ and his transcendent tether ‘The Cube Man’. The film is shot entirely using the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is paired with a musical score of ethereal chords, slowed beyond instrumental recognition.
